Getting The Most Out of Your Next Massage!

Flow & Intention
I enjoy assessing client's needs and designing a bodywork session that will best address the client's current condition and desired outcomes. You can trust in the knowledge that what ever you share with me with regards to your current mental, physical and emotional health in session will be confidential.
The better you can express what you would like to get out of the massage before hand, describing any current pains, your emotional state, allergies, discomforts or injuries, the better I can address these needs in the session. It helps me set a stronger intention for the work I do with you and will determine the pace and flow of my approach.
How does this benefit you?
You'll receive a seamless, calming and attentive massage experience!
Arrive to your session, feeling fresh (possibly freshly showered), hydrated (as this will help your muscles let go some of their tension related to dehydration) and wearing comfy clothes. At the end of your session you will want to float home feeling comfortable and cozy. Soft unrestrictive clothing will feel best. Communicate your health concerns, objectives and hopes for the massage, and always let me know if there is a way I can make you more comfortable.
Here’s how to get the most out of your massage session:
Take some time before your massage to breathe deep, and clear your mind.
Aim to be early for your massage so you have time to have some water and use the washroom, without feeling rushed and without cutting into your massage time.
Give yourself time after the massage to relax, eat something nutritious, drink some water and feel your new state of being.
Abstain from heavy lifting, excessive activity or drinking alcohol after your massage.
Give yourself 48 hours to adjust to and process the changes and emotions emerging in your mind and body.
